As a Development Director, you will work closely with leadership and all disciplines to champion the most resonant game for our Players. In this role, you’ll take the product vision and translate it into an executable roadmap, and develop ways to drive the team forward.

What you'll do

Ensure the game is fun through these responsibilities:  

• Regularly play the game both internally and with live Players.

• Work with the Game Director, Studio Leadership, and Players to gather and document the goals the product must meet for its players.

• Ensure the product development cycle and immediate steps are clear and achievable through regular engagement with product and studio leadership.

• Build and maintain an overall product roadmap and staffing strategy.

• Support the creation, curation, and oversight of implementation of a multi-year audience focused strategy that will delight Players.

• Continually assist in leading the team forward to achieve the vision outlined through various means, including, but not limited to: curating the overall product backlog with the Game Director, reviewing team strategies, hiring and/or overseeing team growth.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of experience as a leader (3-to-100+ people) in game development.

• Love for games.

Compensation

• Annual salary range: $226,000 - 339,000

• In addition to annual salary we are also offering equity packages. These are dependent on the candidate and operate on a sliding scale depending on base salary selections.
